About the Role

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of foods in the kitchen. They must be well versed in the use of kitchen equipment and understand how to safely prepare and store food. The Line Cook must be organized and able to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.



Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and standards

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area

Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices

Ensure proper food storage and rotation

Monitor food quality and adjust seasonings to ensure satisfactory results

Maintain accurate inventory and order supplies as needed

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent

At least 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Ability to read, follow, and execute recipes

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
