Greet customers promptly and warmly upon their arrival
Answer phones
Maintain the cleanliness of the dining area
Assign guests to tables that best accommodate their wishes and party size
Monitor restaurant activity to ensure that all guests have an enjoyable experience
Inform guests of daily specials and menu changes
Qualifications
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work with a team in a collaborative manner
Ability to memorize and explain menu items to guests
Ability to maintain a professional, friendly demeanor at all times
Previous restaurant experience is a plus
